Spirit Airlines check-in counter descends into chaos as brawl breaks out

A shocking video has emerged showing a brawl erupting at a check-in baggage counter at an international airport.
The incident occurred late Tuesday afternoon at the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), as reported by the Maryland Transportation Authority, with five individuals involved in the melee.
Four men, reported to be contractors at Spirit Airlines, have been suspended pending an investigation, after allegedly attacked a passenger, pushig him, chasing him, and kicking him while on the grond — it was four against onel 
The situation escalated quickly from a heated argument at the counter to a full-blown brawl, reports The Mirror US. 
In the footage, four baggage handlers can be seen emerging from behind the counter and launching an attack on the man. The scene devolved into a chaotic melee reminiscent of a WWE match, with the group throwing punches and kicks while the man lay defenseless on the ground.
The video concludes with one employee landing a low blow directly to the passenger’s face. The Maryland Transportation Authority informed TMZ that officers responded to the incident late Tuesday afternoon after being alerted to the brawl. 
Five individuals were identified as being involved in the brawl, with one sustaining minor injuries. A spokesperson for Spirit Airlines informed TMZ that four employees from a third-party service used by the airline have been suspended pending an investigation.
The airline emphasized that they do not directly employ those seen in the video footage.
Spirit Airlines stated that it does not tolerate any form of violence and will take appropriate action once the investigation concludes.

This incident follows recent findings that Spirit Airlines is among the least punctual airlines, with only 69.51% of flights arriving on time, 28.59% delayed, and 1.7% canceled. This places the airline as the third least punctual, trailing behind JetBlue Airways, while Frontier Airlines was found to be the least punctual with 66.99% of flights on time, 30.71% delayed, and 2.13% canceled.
